Enter your amateur callsign and email. We'll send a one-time login link. Email verification activates the callsign. Register your base callsign without an SSID. Choose your station SSID after signing in. Use the same email to add another callsign.

APRS carries short amateur-radio messages and position/status packets over radio, APRS-IS, and gateways. APRSPH Messenger is an APRS-IS web interface, not an emergency or private chat service. Messages are public and delivery is not guaranteed.
Send an APRS message addressed to APRSPH: NET Hello from my station quietly checks in; CQ Hello from my station sends a greeting to the day's checked-in operators. LIST requests the day's station list. Check in again after the daily UTC reset. APRSPH Net instructions ↗
Independent of the APRSPH Net, #APRSThursday runs every Thursday 00:00–23:59 UTC. Send CQ HOTG Hello from my station to ANSRVR to join the HOTG group. When finished, send U HOTG to ANSRVR to unsubscribe and reduce unnecessary RF traffic. #APRSThursday guide ↗
Sign in with an email link, select your verified base callsign and station SSID, then tap the compose icon to start a conversation.
APRS treats N2RAC and N2RAC-9 as distinct station identities. Select the SSID before sending; each identity has its own inbox and conversations.
Enter the destination including its SSID, if applicable. APRS messages are limited to 67 ASCII characters in this messenger. Sending to a station does not guarantee delivery or acknowledgment.
A small RF · via IGATE badge appears only when the received packet path indicates it entered APRS-IS through an RF IGate (for example, qAR, qAr, or qAo with a valid IGate identity). The IGate callsign is shown when identifiable.
No badge does not mean “internet-only.” A message might be forwarded by a net, bot, or other gateway, or the routing information might not establish how it originated. Older saved messages can also lack path information.
The RF badge describes the packet's entry into APRS-IS, not proof that the sender is currently reachable over RF or that a reply will be delivered. Routing details remain available to administrators in the packet monitor.
Enable or disable alerts in Settings. Approve your browser’s notification request and use Test alert to check delivery. Firefox and operating-system settings can block notification banners. The page must remain open and able to poll for messages; this is not closed-app push delivery.
Administrators can inspect recently received APRS-IS packet lines for troubleshooting. These are raw APRS packets, not just messages for your station. Packet content is public on APRS-IS, but please be considerate when sharing logs.
No packets loaded.
Administrator-only diagnostic: displays up to 40 recent packet lines held in memory. No server debug setting is required. If empty, no packets have been captured since the service started. Raw APRS traffic is public, but avoid sharing logs containing personal details.
APRSPH Messenger can be added to your Home Screen without downloading an APK. It still needs an internet connection for messages.
Android Chrome: Open aprsph.net/messenger/, tap the three-dot menu → Add to Home screen or Install app, then confirm.
iPhone Safari: Tap Share → Add to Home Screen, keep Open as Web App if offered, then tap Add.
Desktop Chrome/Edge: Use the Install icon in the address bar or the browser menu.
This is a Progressive Web App, not a standalone APK. Browser permissions and installed-app notifications depend on your device.
If messages do not appear, check the connection indicator, your selected SSID, and the destination callsign. Refresh the page if necessary. Contact the APRSPH administrator if email login or registration fails.
Never transmit passwords, private information, or sensitive details. APRS traffic is public.
A lightweight web messenger for amateur radio operators, using APRS-IS through the APRSPH-11 shared gateway.

Built for accessible APRS messaging on desktop and mobile. Email verification is not proof of legal callsign ownership.
